History of men :
Les ondes et la mer, hommage à Camille Tissot by Y. Bouquillon.
Camille Tissot was a French navy commissioned, officer and professor of physics at Brest. He was contemporaneous with Ferrié, and part in the wireless research. The use of wireless telegraphy to send time signals to ships at sea is due to an idea of Camille Tissot, idea put into service for the first time by the signals sent out the Eiffel tower in Paris. Hereafter is the first part of this biography devoted to the life and the work of Tissot.
